RAPUNZEL RAPUNZEL

Christina Dimitriadis is one of the first generation of artists that moved to Berlin after 1989 and has lived in Prenzlauer Berg for more than two decades. Her balcony is an active part of her everyday life; a refuge from quotidian responsibilities. For Die Balkone she realized a site-specific work, Rapunzel Rapunzel, a fairy escape route built with fallen branches from the nearby park and inspired by a famous fairytale. Many came and waited on the other side!
CHRISTINA DIMITRIADIS
Christina Dimitriadis lives and works in Berlin. She studied at the Parsons School of Design and The New School for Social Research in New York. Her work has been exhibited internationally in major institutions and events for more than 25 years. Parallel to her artistic practice she has been invited to teach at various universities.
