Set designer and painter Isabella Sedeka works with color and oxidized metal layering in her abstract paintings. She contributed to Die Balkone with a large pink blue canvas waving in the wind on airy Danzigerstrasse.

ISABELLA SEDEKA

Isabella Sedeka (born in 1979 in Oppeln, Poland) is a Berlin-based artist who studied in Milan, Venice, Hamburg, and Berlin. On her canvases she allows up to 25 wafer-thin layers of oxidizing metals and acrylic to indefinitely interreact. This enables the viewer to perceive the same picture differently depending on the angle of view and the incidence of light.
