VERMUTLICH SIND WIR TIERE

Ingrid Wiener sang her poem “Vermutlich” on the phone from her quarantine: “ich bin vermutlich/ wie die Tiere / darum steh ich/ so herum/ und ich sing in/ meinem Biere/ meine Lieder (summ summ summ)” and Jan St Werner worked over her singing and mixed it. Wiener’s voice echoed from Rosa and Jan’s balcony on a normally very busy, but now silent, street. A half-finished escape ladder hung from the balcony with a big lilac flower tied to its end and greeted its public into the in-between state of human souls. As an artist, musician, and cook, Wiener has long been an important part of the Vienna and Berlin intellectual and culinary scene. Their collaboration with Rosa and Jan dates to vinyl production in 2011.
