ZM, The Initials, 2021

For more than two decades, Dolores Zinny and Juan Maidagan have produced large-scale installations to investigate architecture through the history of a site and to challenge traditional notions around exhibition space and creating new meanings. A love for Tadeusz Kantor brought them together. For Die Balkone in 2020, they realized a stage view from their everyday lives with a readymade in blue and white stripes, after Daniel Buren, displayed on their large terrace overlooking Alexanderplatz.
