Hannah Hurtzig has been living in Prenzlauer Berg since 1992. Like many of us she never really met her neighbors except for the people in her building. Installing a panel with her landline number (usually one tends to see only real estate phone contacts on the buildings) she initiated a lot of conversations with random passersby, the project visitors or people living just opposite. There is no boring talk with Hannah, as all her art is one long conversation piece. With some she talked for example about Sakura cherry trees that were given to their street as a present from Japan after the reunification of Germany and Berlin.
